Angela Evelyn Bassett was born in America. In the TV and film industry, she is known for her many awards and nominations. Bassett was raised living in Winston-Salem North Carolina, raised by an aunt in New York New York. Bassett along with her sister who were about five years old, emigrated away from the city of their birth to St. Petersburg to live with the mother of their separated father. Bassett watched the James Earl Jones in John Steinbeck's Of Mice and Men play as she was still at high school and decided that it was acting she would like to be doing. The year was 1980 and Bassett completed her studies at Yale University New Haven Connecticut with a degree in African American studies. She also received a degree from The Yale School of Drama. Courtney B. Vance was also an actor at Yale. They were married in 1997. Qualification: B.A. The Yale School of Drama conferred an M.A. in Fine Arts in African American Studies to Angela Bassett back in the year 1980. The school she attended was the school following: Jordan Park elementary school, Disston Middle School for students in 7th grade, Azalea Middle School for 8th & 9th grades in addition to Boca Ciega High School. Angela Bassett plays Ramonda as one of the major roles in action adventure film i.e. Black Panther Wakanda forever 2022.
